Deleting your Runflake account

Delete from inside the app

Open Runflake, go to the My tab, then Settings, then Account, and choose Delete account. The screen asks you to confirm twice before anything is removed, because this cannot be undone.

Deletion runs immediately. You do not need to contact us and there is no waiting period.

Delete without the app

If you have already uninstalled Runflake, email contact@runflake.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We complete the deletion within 30 days and reply when it is done. We may ask you to confirm from that address so that nobody else can delete your account.

What is deleted

Your profile, including your display name, birth year, country, and settings.

Every run you synced: summaries, splits, and the raw GPS track files stored for you.

Your goals, weights read from Apple Health or Health Connect, bookmarks, course reviews, and course completions.

Your community posts, comments, and cheers, along with the list of runners you blocked.

Your ranking entries, so your name no longer appears on any board.

Your consent records.

What is kept, and for how long

Routes you published as public courses stay on Runflake with your name removed. Other runners have saved and followed them, and deleting the route would break their records. The course is no longer linked to you or to any account.

Usage events that Runflake records to fix bugs and measure reliability stay with your account identifier removed. These events never contain location, routes, or health data.

Records of when location data was used, which the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information requires us to keep, stay for six months with your account identifier removed.

A record that a deletion was requested and completed, with your account identifier removed, so we can show the request was handled.

Deleting part of your data

You do not have to delete your account to remove individual items. A run can be deleted from its detail screen, a post or comment from its own menu, and a published course from the course you own. Deleting the app from your phone removes everything held on that device.
