Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Runflake app and website.
Last updated: September 9, 2026
Using Runflake
Runflake records your runs, tracks goals, and lets you follow and publish routes. You are responsible for running safely, watching traffic, and following local rules. Runflake is not a medical device and does not give medical or training advice.
You must be at least 14 years old to create a Runflake account. Under that age you can still record runs that stay on your own device, with no account. The app still sends anonymous usage events, which carry a random device identifier and no name, email, account identifier, location, or heart rate. If local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing, that age applies to you.
The service is provided as is during early release. Features may change, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service, publish unlawful content, or interfere with other runners.
Your content
Runs, routes, reviews, and posts you create remain yours. By publishing a route or posting to the community you grant us a licence to store, display, and distribute that content inside Runflake so other runners can see and follow it.
You can delete published content at any time. Copies already downloaded by other runners are outside our control.
Community rules
Runflake has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or deceptive, and do not publish another person’s private information.
Every post and comment can be reported from the item itself, as spam, abuse, false information, danger, privacy, or another reason you describe. Content that passes the report threshold is hidden from the board automatically while we look at it. We remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we act on reports within 24 hours.
You can block another runner from any post or comment they wrote. Blocking hides their posts, comments, and cheers from you.
To reach us about content, an account, or a block, write to contact@runflake.com.
Accounts and deletion
You can use Runflake without signing in. Some features, including rankings, publishing routes, and syncing across devices, require an account.
You can delete your account inside the app under My, Settings, Delete account. Deletion removes your runs, routes, and personal data from our servers. Content you published to shared boards may remain in an anonymised form where removal would break other runners’ records.
Paid features
Runflake is free at launch. If we introduce paid features later, we will state the price and terms before you are charged, and purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under the store’s own policy.
Liability and governing law
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or by gross negligence. We are not liable for interruptions caused by events outside our control, or for injury arising from how you choose to run.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the court with jurisdiction over your address, or the Seoul Central District Court where no such court applies.
Changes
We announce changes in the app and on this page at least seven days before they take effect, and thirty days ahead when a change is unfavourable to you. Continuing to use Runflake after the effective date means you accept the change.
Change history
2026-09-09: The provider of Runflake changed. The app was transferred from Foo AI Corp. to WorkNPLAY Inc., which is now the company named in the business information below and the controller of your personal data. What we collect, how we use it, and your rights did not change. The people responsible are now identified by role rather than by personal name.
2026-08-20: This document did not change. The date above is shared by the Runflake legal documents, and on that date the location terms recorded that community posts no longer publish a route line.
2026-08-16: These terms did not change. The date above is shared by the Runflake legal documents, and on that date the privacy policy and the account deletion page corrected where body weight comes from.
2026-08-11: Corrected the in-app path for deleting an account. The earlier text sent people to a Settings screen that no longer exists.
2026-08-09: Corrected what happens below the account age. The app sends anonymous usage events even when there is no account, which the earlier text denied.
2026-08-01: Added the community rules, covering objectionable content, reporting, blocking, and how to reach us.
2026-07-31: First published.
